Uninstall Workstation from a Linux Host

You must run a command to uninstall Workstation from a Linux host.

Prerequisites

Verify that you have root access to the host system.

Procedure

1	Log in to the Linux host system with the username that you use when you run Workstation.
2	Become root. For example: su root The command that you use depends on your Linux distribution and configuration.
3	In a terminal window, type vmware-installer -u vmware-workstation.
4	Click Next to begin uninstalling Workstation.
